A company where you can build a career
Chronopost recruits over 150 apprentices every year across all the professions represented within the company. We are proud to offer 42% of them new opportunities internally, including permanent contracts (CDIs) for half of them.
Our employees stay with the company for an average of 12 years.
The reason they choose to stay so long is largely due to the career opportunities we provide: today, one out of three positions is filled internally. We take pride in offering an average of 300 internal promotions each year and investing 4 million euros annually in employee training.
Chronopost also has an attractive compensation policy, including a competitive profit-sharing plan for all employees, as well as advantageous variable compensation.
According to a survey conducted by Great Place to Work, 82% of respondents reported being engaged with the company, and 74% of employees aspire to work here for the long term.
An innovative, growing, and future-oriented company
With steadily increasing revenue over the past decade and a 19% growth in staff over two years, reaching nearly 5,000 permanent employees (CDIs), Chronopost is a dynamic company. Over 800 employees were hired in 2021 to support this growth.
More than just a traditional transport company, Chronopost has chosen to diversify into the transportation of healthcare products and temperature-controlled food items. These new activities, driven by its subsidiary Chronofresh and its Chronopost Healthcare division, are synonymous with cutting-edge technologies and expertise (metrology laboratories, state-of-the-art cold storage facilities, certifications, etc.) to ensure the integrity of transported goods. These new ventures create a demand for new skills, which we actively recruit and train.
Finally, with one million parcels transported every day, Chronopost is now equipped with advanced industrial tools (the most efficient sorting machines on the market) and leverages artificial intelligence to meet its customers' needs.
A committed and outward-looking company
In 2022, Ecovadis, an independent organization that evaluates companies' CSR performance (Environment, Social, Ethics, and Responsible Procurement), awarded Chronopost the Platinum Medal, its highest distinction, with a score of 78/100—an improvement of 7 points compared to 2021. This places us in the top 1% of the highest-rated companies in our sector!
In addition to our strong commitment to reducing our environmental impact, we have an active policy supporting disability inclusion and back several organizations, including Imagine for Margo, which fights pediatric cancer, and the Second Chance School initiative.
A company committed to employee well-being
Chronopost has implemented a Workplace Well-Being Agreement that establishes guidelines to improve employees' working conditions. Among its tangible initiatives, Chronopost introduced a remote work system even before the COVID pandemic, which has since been expanded. The company also provides modern communication tools, enforces a right to disconnect, and upholds principles regarding meeting organization.
