Innovation as a major priority at Chronopost
To meet its strategic goals and ensure fast and efficient parcel processing, Chronopost has invested in recent years in the most advanced equipment on the market such as sorting machines and automated platforms, and in new technologies such as video tracking systems and six sided barcode readers including an under belt scanner.
We also enhance customer relations and proof of delivery through an artificial intelligence solution developed with ILLUIN Technology.
This collaboration led to the creation of the chatbot Leonard, which is able to handle most user requests online and guide them through more than sixty possible delivery scenarios. It also enabled the development of PhotoConfirm, an internal Chronopost application that ensures proper parcel delivery handling in case of claims or disputes.
Chronopost also innovates to address new challenges related to temperature sensitive food and healthcare products by investing in the development of its temperature controlled transport network and by building four next generation hubs dedicated to these activities.
