DELIVERY TIMES
Your documents and goods are delivered within an average time of 5 days to the United States, from your collection point to your delivery location.
Delivery times are provided as an estimate and in business days. There is no compensation in case of a delivery delay. Delivery times depend on the city of dispatch, the drop-off time at the local office, as well as the customs clearance procedures at the destination.

GEOGRAPHICAL COVERAGE
Customs clearance fees may apply (VAT, customs duties, dock dues, other taxes, and customs clearance services).
These customs fees are paid by the recipient at the time of delivery.
Customs clearance services per declaration:
In the event that customs formalities are carried out, Chronopost will charge customs clearance services (corresponding to handling fees) in addition to the applicable duties and taxes*. These will be charged according to the current rate based on the destination country and the Incoterm.
- €21 (including tax) maximum per customs declaration in mainland France.
- €19 (including tax) maximum per customs declaration in the Overseas Departments (DOM) (noting that the amount is €10 (including tax) for shipments to individuals when the customs value of the goods is below €100).
*Customs fees may apply for shipments: from the DOM to all destinations, including mainland France; From any origin, including mainland France, to the DOM; From mainland France to a country outside the European Union; From a country outside the European Union to mainland France (VAT, customs duties, dock dues, other taxes, and customs clearance services).

PACKAGE PICKUP
Chronopost handles parcels from Monday to Friday. However, for parcels dropped off at post offices or Chronopost agencies (and also at Pickup points for parcels with computerized labels), the delivery times are calculated from the time of pickup, which includes Monday to Saturday mornings.
For contracted professional clients, it is possible to arrange a Saturday collection, subject to an operational and economic feasibility study. If feasible, the agreed service will be subject to an additional fee.
LOCATION AND HOLDING TIME
In the absence of the recipient during the first delivery and the second attempt, your parcel will be held at the local depot for an average of 10 days. The duration of the hold is provided as an estimate. The actual holding period will be communicated to the recipient in case of a delivery failure.

En faisant du transport international, Chronopost, se doit de respecter cette réglementation et se réserve le droit de suspendre ou interrompre l’acheminement, transmettre aux autorités compétentes toutes informations requises et appliquer les procédures exigées par celles-ci, et ce sans que la responsabilité de CHRONOPOST ne puisse être recherchée.
Un colis peut subir un retard de traitement dans le cas où l’expéditeur et/ou le destinataire ou tout tiers concerné par cette expédition est suspecté d'avoir un lien avec une organisation ou une personne référencée sur les listes d’individus non autorisés.
Lorsque les doutes sont levés, le colis est remis dans le réseau de distribution et livré au destinataire.
In general, the following items cannot be accepted:
- All goods subject to national and international regulations on dangerous products such as, but not limited to, ammunition, gases, flammable, radioactive, toxic, infectious, or corrosive materials, as well as any objects that, by their nature or packaging, may present a danger to transport or handling personnel, the environment, the safety of transport vehicles, or may damage other transported parcels, vehicles, or third parties;
- Jewelry, watches, precious stones and metals, currencies, banknotes, financial or securities instruments, payment methods, debt instruments or commercial papers, gift vouchers, phone cards or equivalents, as well as any document or medium allowing for a fungible payment and/or subject to the legality of transporting funds;
- Living or dead animals, plants, temperature-controlled goods, perishable products or foodstuffs, biological or blood samples, organs, as well as any excise goods under suspension of duties;
- All types of weapons, narcotics, psychotropic substances, works of art, artifacts, antiques, collectibles, publications or audiovisual media prohibited by any applicable law or regulation;
- Responses to calls for tender, pre-qualification files for contract awards, application files and exam copies, as well as any prototype.
Internationally, items subject to the above restrictions, as well as furs and items not admitted for import into the destination country, cannot be accepted.
